Our Story

The idea behind The Heirloom Project

The Heirloom Project began with a simple idea: our homes deserve more things that were made by people, made with intention, and made to stay.

I believe handmade things have a way of becoming part of a family's story. A quilt gets pulled onto the couch, tucked around a sleepy child, dragged from room to room, washed a hundred times and eventually remembered as the quilt that was always there.

That is what I make and I want to encourage more people to make, too.

The Heirloom Project creates handmade quilts in small, thoughtfully designed collections inspired by places, seasons, nature, and the colors and memories that make somewhere feel like home.

But the finished quilt is only one part of the story.

Our fabric bundles are thoughtfully curated for makers who want to create something of their own. Each one brings together colors and prints that feel collected rather than perfectly matched- giving you a place to start while leaving the final creation entirely yours.

Whether it's a quilt made here or a bundle of fabric that becomes something in your hands, the hope is the same: that it gets used, loved, and eventually becomes part of someone's story.

Because an heirloom shouldn't spend its life tucked away.

Handmade today. Heirloom tomorrow.
